Fine signed Boston Federal worktable, highly figured mahogany veneers, pine secondary, top drawer fitted with writing board and pen and ink compartments, center drawer with original dividers, stenciled signature "Bot of Moses Mellen…City Market, Brattle Street, Boston" over bag drawer frame, original brass pulls, early 19th century, 28-3/4 x 18-1/4 x 18-3/4 in. (opens to 34-1/4 in.). Good condition overall, bag drawer frame lacking fabric, casters replaced, minor veneer cracks and patches, patch to top and one leaf, other minor flaws.
