American Federal banjo clock, white-painted dial signed "Warranted by Curtis & Dunning" over eglomisé cornucopia throat panel over base panel depicting port scene, base panel dated February 7, 1880, period weight present, American, early 19th century, 40 in. Base and throat panels later (late 19th century), original dial paint with crackle, minor flaking and surface dirt, signature faded and possibly retouched, gilt elements repainted, replaced base drop. The partnership of Lemuel Curtis and Joseph Dunning of Concord, Massachusetts and Burlington, Vermont lasted from 1820 to 1832.
