Fine New York Federal breakfast table, mahogany, rectangular top with two shaped leaves, dovetailed drawer with poplar secondary, reeded urn on four reeded and leaf carved saber legs with brass paw casters, New York, possibly shop of Duncan Phyfe, 1815, 30 x 27-1/2 in. (opens to 53-1/2 39-1/2 in.). Excellent condition overall, refnished, brass pull replaced, probably original spider and casters, leaves slightly sprung from top shrinkage.
