Spear, Charleston, South Carolina, working 1846-1871), some with patent mark for 1845, various monograms, .900 fine, 43.21 oz.T. Provenance: The Collection of a Charleston, South Carolina Gentleman Detailed listing: 6 -- 7-7/8 in. forks, knife marks on back of lower tines 12 -- 6-1/2 in. forks, wear to tine tips 4 -- 6-3/4 in. spoons, some bowl dents, two with repaired handles, two with repaired bowls, tip wear 4 -- 8-3/8 in. spoons, bowl dents, wear to tips, one with possibly repaired bowl 26 -- total pieces
