Maria Howard Weeden watercolor (Huntsville, Alabama, 1847-1905), portrait of a black woman, signed lower left "Howard Weeden", watercolor on card, 9-7/8 x 7-7/8 in. oval; early 20th century gilt and black painted wood frame. Light grime, toning, fading, trimmed to oval shape; frame with abrasions.
