Set of six Masonic Windsor chairs: each boldly grain painted with crest decoration of Masonic devices, green details on plank seat edges, original paint, each marked with "W" on seat bottom", American, attributed to North Carolina, 19th century, 32 x 14-1/4 x 14-1/2 in. Painted surfaces with abrasions, losses and fading overall, Masonic devices faintly painted, otherwise generally good repair, some loose elements, minor repairs. Provenance: Property of Nathan and Jean Harsh, previously loaned to Wynnewood, National Register of Historic Sites at Castalian Springs in Sumner County Tennessee
