Fine Georgia Federal butler's chest, highly figured walnut veneers, poplar and yellow pine secondary, desk drawer with false double front and fitted interior over three graduated long drawers, original brasses, attributed to Piedmont, Georgia, early 19th century, 44 x 41 x 20-1/2 in. In excellent condition, old refinishing, minor veneer cracks, other normal wear and minor repairs. Provenance: Found in Elberton, Georgia
