Fine Virginia Federal sideboard, highly figured mahogany with poplar, white pine and yellow pine secondary, three dovetailed drawers over four lower doors, tapered legs with cross-banded cuffs, middle Atlantic states, probably Virginia, early 19th century, 43 x 69-3/4 x 25-3/4 in. Refinished, minor patches to leg veneer at feet, warping and cracks to case sides, other minor veneer patches and repairs, cracks and minor stains to top, brasses replaced.
