Southern tiger maple desk, "cotton factor" standing desk in cherry and tiger maple, poplar secondary, desk interior with four poplar drawers, cut nail and dovetailed construction, separate frame with turned cherry arcade, possibly Tennessee, 19th century, 50-1/2 x 36 x 24 in. Dry varnished surface with some alligatoring, top board of desk somewhat loose, one spindle broken and some other possibly restored, other wear and minor repairs.
