Virginia Federal diminutive chest, small scale with figured mahogany and poplar and yellow pine secondary, molded top over four graduated drawers, dovetailed construction, original French feet and shaped skirt, probably Virginia, early 19th century, 34-3/4 x 35 x 19-1/2 in. Refinished, patches and repairs to moldings, original feet and skirt with numerous breaks, veneer repairs, some face patches and some later blocking, bottom drawer divider replaced, brasses replaced (no plugged holes).
