Two pieces Japanese satsuma: bowl, central Tokugawa mon (crest) of triple hollyhock, gosu blue lappet border with chrysanthemums, exterior with gosu blue swirling mist among gilt and polychrome chrysanthemums, base with gilt over iron red three-character mark, 3-1/2 x 6-3/4 in., with wood stand, [rim with repairs and five cracks, minor void;] square to round bowl in bronze woven handled basket, central paulownia, polychrome prunus on gosu blue border, base with three-character mark, 7 x 8 in., [interior with glue residue, base with minor firing crack, discoloration,] late 19th/early 20th century.
