Fine micro-mosaic brooch, architectural ruins depicting Roman Forum, 20 kt. (test) gold mount with cannetille border, early 19th. century, 2-3/8 x 2 in. Repairs to mount, several areas with lead solder on back, mount with possibly added finish, mosaic in good condition, black background with minor chips. Provenance: The Estates of Ward and Stout Families, Bloomfield, New Jersey
