Unusual Heriz or Serapi rug, typical designs on a red field with ivory corner work, late 19th/early 20th century, 5 ft 6 in. x 5 ft 10 in. (unusual size). Generally even low pile, much of the rug lacking pile, slight end loss with later binding, selvedge wear and repairs.
