USA", brass and aluminum with black finish, serial number 39493, 1939, 8 in. telescope, 3-1/4 in. needle, height 12-1/2 in., in fitted mahogany case with brass plate, 15-1/2 x 9 x 9 in., sun shield, extended-leg oak tripod marked "X-6-L-2". Good condition, normal wear. Provenance: The Collection of the Late Ronald Kiser, Mars Hill, North Carolina
