Gurley, Troy, N.Y.", serial number 12637, 1912, 8-1/2 in. telescope, 3-3/8 in. needle, height 11 in., in dovetailed mahogany case with Gurley label, 12-1/2 x 10 x 6-1/2 in., with 57 in. tripod. Tripod and case with normal wear, wear to vertical circle, otherwise good condition, lacking plumb bob. Provenance: The Collection of the Late Ronald Kiser, Mars Hill, North Carolina
