Description Circa 1820. Mahogany case with swan's neck pediment centering original brass eagle finial over an églomisé door with foliate decoration and lyre spandrels enclosing a clear glass panel above a medallion inscribed "Aaron Willard Boston," opening to a painted iron dish dial. 8-day time and strike, weight-driven movement. Upper and lower tablet frames stamped "76". Original finish. Slight touchup to dial. Upper glass repainted. Size 36 - 1/2" H x 12 - 1/4" W.
