DENI, Viktor (1893-1946). Podlezhit unichtozheniiu [Must Be Destroyed]. Lithograph (580 x 395 mm). Anti-war poster depicting a figure of a Western plutocrat sitting atop a pile of military supplies. The scene is accompanied by a poem by Demian Bednyi's. Framed. Viktor Deni was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1893. At 17 he had his first drawings published in the satirical journal Budilink.
