DOBUZHINSKY, Mstislav Valeryanovich (1875-1957). View of Vitebsk in winter. 1923. Lithograph (340 x 410 mm). Signed in pencil lower right; marked with monogram, dated and inscribed "Vitebsk" lower left. Framed. Lithuanian-born M. V. Dobuzhinsky was one of the founding members of Mir iskusstva [World of Art] group and an important illustrator of the Silver Age. He was also Vladimir Nabokov's drawing teacher.
