SET OF FOUR GEORGE III SILVER SALT DISHES. With glass liners, London, 1786, by John Wakelin, 6 ounces *Condition: Overall condition of dishes is good. One glass insert has been unprofessionally restored, as evidenced by heavy adhesive residue. Sustains various hairlines and chips to the top rim. Another glass insert sustains a chip to the base. No evidence of restoration to the dishes. One dish's inner lip, which glass insert rests on, sustains minor warping. Some cleaning material residue to the inside crevices. A very nice set. *Est.
