IMPORTANT AND OUTSTANDING PAIR OF EXPORT CARVED IVORY TUSKS
Chinese. Late 19th Century. With British coat of arms. Each profusely carved with
scenes of village life depicting pagodas, figures and animals all under the canopies of
pine trees, supported by a massive pierce carved teakwood base. Height of tusks
approximately 50 1/2". Overall height 52". Length of stand 37 3/4".
