Vintage Gibson J-40 Flat Top Guitar,
ca. early 1970s, serial #8000889 above Made in U. S. A. on back of headstock, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, binding top and back. With hardshell case.



Horribly "repaired", but plays and sounds fine. Two top cracks untouched, most of binding long gone, lower bouts and back seems to have been mashed in and filled with an unearthly brown substance. A good project guitar or okay as is for playing.
