Two North Carolina Antique Folk Art Banjos,
the first, 31.5", is fashioned having a factory neck attached to a Nurica cigar box, tuners, tailpiece and bridge are homemade, pencil inscription on back notes this as belonging to a Lorene Sweet of Taylorsville, NC; the second, 28.75", seems unfinished and is made from a Flor Fina cigar box, intended for one or two strings. A hang tag gives a Watauga County, NC provenance.



Attic condition with expected scuffs and aging.
