Antique Folk Art Fiddle With Coffin Case,
a not-so-crude instrument topped by scroll carved with young woman's face, upper bass bout initialed "O D", tuners and fingerboard are factory made. Housed in substantial coffin case having dark red paint surfaces. A tag gives the case a Watauga County, North Carolina provenance.

Top and back loose, needs set-up, tailpiece, nut, bridge, sound post, strings and one tuner. Crude repair to neck in attempt to lower action.
