Antique 1/4 Size Violin Possible Erhu Conversion,
ca. early 20th c., a standard no-name violin is fitted with an extended 24.5" neck having a 27.5" fingerboard, the bridge has been re-fitted for two strings, with custom-made coffin case and bow. Rather than being an outrageous novelty, this instrument seems to have been adjusted for Chinese playing.



Needs complete set-up with tuning pegs, nut, bridge, sound post and strings. As found attic condition.
