Very Fine Earthworm Pattern Mocha Pitcher

DESCRIPTION: A 19th century barrel form pitcher featuring outstanding earthworm pattern mocha decoration. The pitcher having coggle decorated bands on top and bottom and an applied foliate handle. The mocha banding consisting of six "earthworm trails" in blacks, oranges, blues and browns crossing each other. MEASUREMENTS: 6" x 3-1/2" . CONDITION: Normal age wear to handle, base, rim and spout. Small chips (1/8") to spout and on base. Decoration is strong and bright.
