DESCRIPTION: A 19th century paneled pitcher with applied geometric handle made in England for the American market featuring a yellow ground with a central horizontal red tulip with green leaves. The second pitcher, also dating from the 19th century, is of bulbous form with an applied handle. Made in England for the American market, this example has red and green "sponge" decoration. MEASUREMENTS: Larger 6" x 7". Smaller 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". CONDITION: The larger with slight glaze crazing and toning. The smaller has no defects noted.
