DESCRIPTION: A pair of robin's egg blue handled art pottery urns with a crackled surface glaze. Marked on the base with the Rookwood Pottery (Cincinnati, Ohio) impressed mark, the Roman date stamp for 1936, the production line stamp of 2649 and two rare paper labels (intact on one urn and partial on the second). The first label being a Rookwood factory label with the price of $15 noted. The second being a Marshall Field retail label with the date of 1926 and inventory control number. MEASUREMENTS: 9" x 9". CONDITION: Overall surface glaze crazing. Some marks to finish and surface.
