First Edition.The first county atlas for Oregon, with extremely detailed maps of the various townships, showing the ownership of the various plots of land, railroads, roads, rivers, hills, etc., as well as a general map of Oregon. The lithographed views depict many of the farms of the area, public buildings including the State Capitol in Salem, private residences, etc. There is also extensive textual content, with a history of each of the two counties, biographical sketches of the leading citizens, etc.
