Bandanna with Soldier & Flag Print Design

c. 1888, Pleated Bandanna with Soldier & Flag Print Design, Choice Very Fine.
Large triangular off-white cotton bandanna stapled to display board, 20.25" x 22.4"--featuring a print motif of a uniformed soldier standing at attention, holding a red-white-and-blue flag, and standing behind a small cannon with a pyramid of cannonballs to the side. Lovely pleated fabric, toned light brown, with staining. Ex-Mastai Collection, as indicated by red-lettered imprint in upper right-hand corner. Likely from 1880s period.
