Historic Americana
Decorative "Declaration of Independence" Wall Plaque

Late 20th Century, Decorative Hanging Wall Plaque, "Declaration of Independence," Near Mint.
This decorative 16.5" x 14.5" x 1.2" deep wall plaque made of light weight Incolay Stone by DANTE'. The company's original advertising stickers are still on the blank back. One reads, "The cover of this unique item is made of genuine Incolay Stone - consisting of a combination of minerals including those composed of Onyx, Jade, Carnetian, Malchite, etc. Selective minerals are fused at temperature, chilled, then crushed and ground to combination particle size, comprising the art work and background beauty of natural stones. This process allows us to duplicate the look of hand carvings done by the Old Masters..." The stone provides a nice decorative engraved display piece. Weight is about eight pounds or so. The first we have offered.
