Rare October 20, 1758 Twelve Shillings New Jersey Note New Jersey. October 20, 1758. Twelve Shillings. Plate B. PASS-CO graded Very Good-10. This is a rare early New Jersey issue has moderate conservation as so noted on its holder. Collectors should understand that this is an important opportunity to acquire a "collectable" example of a note from this rare issue. Only a mere 3,000 total 12 shilling notes were authorized to be printed in 1758, of which only 1,500 or half would have been printed with plate letter "B." Notes of this issue are all rare. They were only to be left in circulation until October 1763 and were made totally invalid and worthless after May of 1779. Thus, a very rare note. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
