Scarce Large Size October 5, 1778 Fifty Dollars Virginia Treasury of Virginia. October 5, 1778. Fifty Dollars. Very Fine. There are some small pieces of clear tape reinforcements on the reverse along the partially splitting centerfold and a number of tiny pinholes that are only seen when the note is held up to a strong light. Overall, this note has full margins, decent centering and a deep, boldly printed appearance. A scarce larger size note of the high, fifty dollars denomination.
