Virginia Currency
Large Size "Fifty Spanish Milled Dollars" Virginia Note

Treasury of Virginia. May 3, 1779. Fifty Dollars. Backed. PCGS graded Apparent Fine-12.
This note is basically whole and complete with the PCGS notation of numerous splits and backed. The centering is quite good. There is an old style archival fiber backing over the entire blank reverse and a small chip of paper missing at the bottom centerfold edge. This note has even tone and all of its important central text is clear and well printed. A scarce, high $50 denomination on this large size paper format.
