- Frondes Agreste. Readings in 'Modern Painters' by Herne Hill - Dated 1875 by George Allen - leather bound volume with gilt lettering, front hinge is cracked, textblock intact
- Culture, Behavior, Beauty by Ralph Waldo Emerson - Dated 1876 by James R. Osgood and Company - small format, embossed brown cloth cover with bright gilt lettering
