Condition/Details: Bound in blindstamped cloth, this antique volume is a scarce first-hand account of the decisive battle of the United States Civil War. The work is illustrated with several plates, including maps showing the array of troops at various stages of the battle. Included also is a fold-out map providing an overview of the battlefield and "objects of special interest". The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with age-toned pages.
