Condition/Details: Bound in light brown cloth with blue lettering and pictorial blindstamp on the lower front cover, this volume is a scarce biography of Billy the Kid written as historical fiction. "Here, for the first time, are told the scenes of his birth in New York; the details of his first crime (differing greatly from any previous account); the incident of how his only photograph happened to be taken and preserved for posterity; the true and poignant story of his one and only love affair - with a young girl already married; and the latest explanation of how he got the gun that enabled him to make one of the greatest escapes in all history." The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 5.75" x 8.5" and contains 293 pages.
