Condition/Details: Bound in navy blue cloth with gilt decoration and slipcase, this volume is the autobiography of the thirty-ninth President of the United States, and only one to resign that office. Almost three quarters of the book covers the 1968 campaign through Nixon's resignation, although the volume also covers his early years, life as a private citizen as well as the period while he was a Congressman, Senator and Vice-President to President Eisenhower. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 10" x 7" in slipcase and contains 1,120 pages including index.
