Munsell (Albany) Printing Year: 1866 Condition/Details: Bound in brown cloth with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce early printing of this historical account of experiences in the Confederate prison system by a lieutenant in the Harris Light Cavalry. The work is illustrated with many engravings. The volume shows external age/wear, with more significant wear along the borders of spine. The book is solidly bound with age-toned pages. It measures approximately 5.25" x 7.5" and contains 353 pages. This lot is part of a large collection of books and ephemera that we will be selling over the coming months, from the estate of Lewis E.
