first edition, 12 wood-engraved illustrations coloured by hand, original stiff printed wrappers, advertisement sheet pasted inside lower cover, in blue morocco slip-case [Moon 576], 12mo, J. Harris and Son, 1824.

***The poem is described in the preface as "a versification of a prose composition [by Charles Lamb] which appeared in the London Magazine, for January 1823". This appears to be the Oppenheimer copy, one of only two to be sold at auction..
