Similarly bound in contemporary half calf over marbled paper boards, gilt ruling and tooling to covers and spines, all edges marbled. Condition: some rubbing and bumping to extremities. Provenance: Manvers; Thoresby Park (armorial bookplates); Lynn Abbott Trust. A long run of this rare publication. The Zoological Society of London was founded by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1826. Its memberes include Charles Darwin . Sold as a periodical, not subject to return. (18)
