MAUND, Benjamin (1790-1864). The Botanic Garden, consisting of highly finished of hardy ornamental flowering plants cultivated in Great Britain... London: Simpkin and Marshall, [1825-1830]. Volumes I-III only, 4to (222 x 180 mm). 3 engraved titles and 72 hand-colored engraved plates depicting 4 subjects per plate by Watts after E. D. Smith and Elizabeth Maund. Contemporary green morocco-backed marbled-paper covered boards, spines in five compartments with gilt bands and lettering. Condition: endleaves and engraved titles spotted, minor offsetting to plates; hinges tender, morocco at corners scuffed on two of the volumes, some wear to edges.
