Orignal purple cloth, covers blocked in blind, the upper cover with central gilt device of fungi, spine lettered in gilt. Condition: faded, spine re-glued and withchips to head and tail of spine. Provenance: Lynn Abbott Trust. First Edition. A valuable and attractive work on British edible fungi, the introduction includes a brief survey of the size and regulation of the market for 'funghi' in Italy.(3)
