A Tommy Crawshaw England international shirt badge circa 1896 Sheffield Wednesday's centre-half Tommy Crawshaw won a total of 10 England international caps between 1895 and 1904. At this time players were very rarely allowed to keep shirt after matches and they were returned to the F.A., laundered and used again in future matches. However, the player was allowed to unpick the embroidered shirt badge to keep as a souvenir as was the case with Crawshaw.
