A group of David Beckham schools' football memorabilia, comprising: David Beckham's Essex County S.F.A. laminated identification card with passport-size colour photograph and signature, his Essex County S.F.A. pin badge, and his gilt-metal & enamel English Schools' Football Association lapel pin; sold together with four privately taken colour photographs of David Beckham taken at 1990 Dallas Cup Youth Tournament in the USA; and a copy of the Daily Mirror dated 22nd December 2007 with a double-page feature on the items being sold in this lot (8) The items represent some of the earliest David Beckham football memorabilia ever to have been offered at auction. At the start of his meteoric career, the 15-year-old was representing Essex Schools in the noted international youth tournament in Texas. It was also David Beckham's first visit to the country that is now his home. The items on offer here were given by David Beckham as farewell mementoes to a Dallas girl he befriended on the trip.
