16 photographs of Dixie Dean originally assembled for a book project, mostly match action, but others of Dean on his wedding day, in retirement and wearing a baseball uniform, various sizes, mainly small size prints The illustrated example showing Dean shaking hands with the great Steve Bloomer outside Lime Street station in April 1936, Bloomer had been invited to attend that day's match in anticipation that Dean would beat the former Derby player's 353 League goals. In the event Dean was unable to play due to a leg injury.
