Scarce 1864 Abraham Lincoln Campaign Songster 1864, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Campaign Song Book, Fine. This is the classic 1864 "Lincoln Campaign Songster" published by Mason & Company of Philadelphia, with political lyrics set to popular songs of the period. The book, bound in pictorial wraps, measures 4 1/2" x 3" and has 16 pages bound in thread, together with advertisements on the last page. One of the more popular items from the 1864 campaign, these songsters simply "recycled" a beardless portrait from the Rail Splitter's first run in 1860. The songster bears a small loss to bottom right corner as well as light age toning and stains to cover that detract little. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
