President Lincoln & $100,000 Reward For His Assassin!

April 21, 1865, THE EVENING POST, New York, NY, Newspaper, Very Fine.
This historic newspaper is 4 pages, 32" x 33", tear and some paper loss on the upper right front page, affecting only advertisements and none of the copy. A big, nine-column paper. The front page begins with an article entitled "FUNERAL OF THE PRESIDENT - Imposing Ceremonies at Washington - Programme for the Removal of Mr. Lincoln's Remains to Springfield. A most interesting article "THE ASSASSINATION" at the bottom of the leftmost column on the front page offers a $100,000 reward for the arrest of the Assassins. Other great Lincoln-related articles and content, plus a speech by the new President, Andrew Johnson. Quite Rare.
