Portraits Including William White Masonic Grand Secretary c. 1700's-1800's, Lot of 6 Portrait Prints of Prominent People of the 1700's and 1800's, Including General Winfield Scott, President James Monroe and Daniel Webster, Fine to Extremely Fine. These fine engraved portraits are all printed on heavy paper with blank backs, ranging in size from 5" x 3" to 11" x 8," and were produced by a variety of engravers and printers. 1. ROBERT LIVINGSTON, large size print, dated 1862, choice condition. 2. WILLIAM WHITE, Grand Secretary (of the Grand Lodge of England), 7" x 4.5" print tipped to a larger sheet, in nice condition, though containing numerous light age spots. 3. DANIEL WEBSTER, at age 70, in excellent condition. 4. WINFIELD SCOTT, unlabeled portrait trimmed to oval shape. 5. JAMES MONROE, a nice early print in excellent condition with extensive light foxing. 6. THOMAS KEYSE, small size print in brown, dated 1797, in very nice condition, though widely soiled and foxed.
