1789 Print of Magic Tricks from the Encyclopedia of Diderot, Very Choice Near Mint.
This outstanding engraved plate measures 11.25" x 8.25" and features a number of illustrations relating to the performance of magic tricks. This is an original 1789 engraved plate from the Volume of Plates that accompanied the very rare Diderot Encyclopedia. The print is in great shape - clean, clear, and bright. Other than showing the effects of having been bound on the left edge, there are no visible blemishes.
