Historic Americana
Facts of American History Set of 19th-Century Trivia Cards 1884, Set of Historical Fact Cards, Choice Extremely Fine. A set of historical cards with information and questions printed in black on white background, the size of a deck of playing cards, 4.3" x 2.7" each, no manufacturer identified. The late-19th century cards provide interesting tidbits of history for anyone wishing to study America's past, divided into categories about Presidents, branches of government, major battles of the Civil War and the American Revolution, questions about American history, facts about major cities and states, and much more! For example, one card lists "SARATOGA," with the information: "1. Burgoyne surrendered here October 17, 1777. 2. The turning point of the Revolution." The format of the facts and questions are similar to that of the popular "Trivia" game of the late 20th-century, only this set of cards is over 100 years old! Cards show slight wear to the edges. (60 cards) Early American will accept payment by check or credit card. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
